This week in class be used pecha kuchas to do our presentations. These are a unique method of presentations where there is a select number of slides, in this case fifteen, each being twenty seconds. This caused me to format my presentation to fit the regulations. In some cases I had to expand the ideas to fit in multiple slides. In other instances, I was forced to dumb down some slides and not include details otherwise included in my essay. When practicing for my presentation, it was important to me to find enough information to speak about throughout majority of the twenty seconds of each slide. Therefore in some instances I had to speak a little slower whereas in others I had to shrink to one slide. Overall, I realized that the pecha kucha is all about bending your essay and your ideas to the given parameters.
